Xiaomi Mi launched Bluetooth Speaker for Rs.2,100



Xiaomi today introduced new Mi Bluetooth Speaker at its event in China along with xiaomi mi 4c. The speaker resembles a pencil box, and is priced at Rs 2,100.

The compact speaker that looks like a small pencil box has a full metal body and weighs just 270 grams making it easy to carry. It also has a microSD card slot to play music directly. It has a built-in microphone so that you can use it for calls when it is connected to your smartphone.The speaker offers 90dB(A) @0.5m sound and features built-in microphone. Powered by a 1500mAh battery, the speaker is claimed to offer up to 8 hours of music playback.


As far as the technicalities are concerned, the Mi Bluetooth Speaker features a frequency response of 85Hz-20KHz, and a maximum output power of 3W. As mentioned above, it features a microSD card slot as well as an AUX-in port, and can connect to devices via Bluetooth 4.0.

The Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth speaker comes in Gold, Blue and Pink colors. Just like the Xiaomi Mi 4c, it too has gone on sale in China, with no word on if the company plans on launching the speakers in other countries.

It automatically pauses the music when you receive a call and connects to the call with a press of the play button without the need of a mobile phone. The aluminum alloy body prevents wear and dirt.The Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth speaker comes in Gold, Blue and Pink colors
