Xiaomi Launched Mi 4c With USB connector Type-C at Rs. 13,500



Xiaomi recently launched its Mi 4c which is first smartphone with USB connector Type-C for Rs, 13,500 in china. The Xiaomi Mi 4c has been launched Mi 4c in two variants: 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage priced at CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs. 13,500), and 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage priced at CNY 1499 (approximately Rs. 15,500). The Xiaomi Mi 4c will be going on sale starting Wednesday in China and is expected to arrive in other Asian countries, including India, soon.

The phone features a 5-inch 1080p display and its Sunlight Display is said to offer "excellent visibility in bright conditions".Xiaomi's new dual-SIM 4G Mi 4c smartphone is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and includes the USB Type-C connector with Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging. The company is also offering a USB Type-C adapter to make any micro USB cable compatible with the Type-C port. It will be able for RMB 5 (around Rs 50).

The smartphone also comes with Edge Tap technology, which Xiaomi claimed it's their patented technology, which allows the handset to perform different assigned functions with a single tap and double tap on the edges of the handset.According to the company, the Edge Tap technology on the Mi 4c will allow the handset to click an image with just one tap on the edge while double tap will take the user back to previous page. The function can be extremely useful while clicking a quick image without reaching out for the screen.

It comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with a dual-tone flash and a 5 megapixel wide-angle front camera. It runs MIUI 7 based on Android Lollipop. According to Xiaomi, the new phone  comes with a built-in IR blaster that supports over 2000 appliances including dSLR cameras.The rear camera features phase detection autofocus and comes with Sony IMX258 or Samsung S5K3M2 sensor. The company at the launch compared the front-camera samples of the Mi 4c against the iPhone 6.

The Mi 4c includes a wide range of gestures. For instance, double tap to wake up the screen. Also, it supports Edge Tap at both sides of the Mi 4c that respond to light taps. For example,  double tap to go back and single tap to snap a photo in Camera.The new phone measures 7.8 mm thick has weighs 132 grams. It is packed with a 3080 mAh battery.

The Xiaomi Mi 4c, which looks more or less like the Mi 4i, currently ships with MIUI 6, but the company says that the latest MIUI 7 update for the new phone will be rolled out it in a few weeks.It will be available in Black, Blue, Orange, Pink, and White colours.
