Watch Motorola Moto X Play India launch live streaming at 12PM today
Motorola is all set to launch the Moto X Play today. The company is streaming the launch event live .
The event is set to begin at noon, and Motorola is streaming it live on YouTube. As the tradition goes, Motorola is expected to launch the smartphone exclusively on Flipkart. The company is also expected to launch the Moto X Style in India sometime soon.
The Moto X Play and Style were announced in July this year in the US. As far as the specifications go, the Moto X Play’s big highlight is the big battery size. It features a huge 3,630mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for up to 48 hours of mixed usage. But the talking point is that it also supports the Turbo Power feature that can charge the battery to 50 percent in mere 15 minutes.
The smartphone flaunts a 5.5-inch 1080p display, and is powered by a 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor. It also features 2GB of RAM, 21-megapixel f/2.0 rear camera with dual-CCT flash, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and 16GB/32GB internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and comes with water-repellent nano-coating.
