Beast will be unleashing in 10 days !!




Only 10 Days left for the launch of Windows 10 and we have these thing coming from it :
 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  •  Windows 10 is only available for users running Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 8.1 Update.
  • System should have a minimum of 1 GB RAM for a 32-bit and 2 GB RAM for a 64-bit System should support a 1 GHz or faster or a SoC (System on a Chip) processor.
  •  Windows 10 requires 16 GB of hard disk storage on a 32-bit machine and 20 GB on a 64-bit machine.
  • System should also support a DirectX 9 graphic card or later with WDDM 1.0 driver.
  • Also system should have 800x600 display available.
  • Some features you would not like lose, but you will lose them if you install Windows 10.These features which will go missing after Windows 10 are:
  • Windows Media Centre
  • If you love playing DVDs, then get ready with a separate playback software
  • Windows 7 users love desktop gadgets, but they will be removed if you install windows 10
  • Games like Solitaire, Minesweeper and Heart Games will not come pre-installed and will  be available as ‘Microsoft Solitaire Collection’ and ‘Microsoft Minesweeper’ for the new Windows 10
  • USB floppy drive users will have to download latest driver software either from Windows Update or from Manufactures website
  • OneDrive application will replaced with inbox version of OneDrive

Now let’s have a look at certain features the will have some additional requirements:

·         Cortana: Currently available only in Windows 10 for US, UK, China, France, Italy, Germany and Spain and will be available soon for other countries like India & Canada.
·         Speech Recognition: It will vary by device microphone. For a better speech experience it will require a High fidelity microphone.
·         Windows Hello: Requires specialized illuminated infrared camera for facial recognition or iris detection. For people who use a finger print scanners, requires a finger print reader supporting Windows Biometric Framework.
·         Continuum: Currently available on all Windows 10 editions which can be turned “on” & “off” through action centre.
·         Music & Video Streaming:  Through Xbox Music & Xbox Video app available in certain regions. For a detailed list of regions, please visit Xbox on Windows website.
·         Two Factor authentication: Requires a PIN, Biometric (finger print reader or illuminated infrared camera), or a phone with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth capabilities.
·         Microsoft Account: To use few features you need to have a Microsoft account. If you don’t have one you can create it here.
·         Internet access (ISP) fees may apply.
·         Secure boot requires firmware that supports UEFI v2.3.1 Errata B and must have Microsoft Windows Certification Authority in UEFI signature database.
·         Some games or programs would require a graphics card  compatible with DirectX 10 or higher for best performance.
·         Bitlocker To Go for Windows 10 Pro & Windows 10 Enterprise requires a USB flash drive or TPM 1.2 or TPM 2.0 .
·         Client Hyper-V requires SLAT capabilities and additional 2 Gb of RAM for Windows 1o Pro and Windows 10 Enterprise.
·         Miracast requires a display adapter which supports Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) 1.3, and a Wi-Fi adapter that supports Wi-Fi Direct.
·         Wi-Fi Direct Printing requires a Wi-Fi adapter that supports Wi-Fi Direct and a device that supports Wi-Fi Direct Printing.
·         To install a 64-bit OS on a 64-bit PC, your processor needs to support CMPXCHG16b, PrefetchW, and LAHF/SAHF.
·         Device encryption requires a PC with InstantGo and TPM 2.0.

Windows 10 is the last update to Windows and there will be no Windows 11 says Microsoft. It also says that Windows 10 users will be regularly getting updates.But still we have question in mind " Why no Windows 9 ? "
