You would want to take a look at this house which is smart!

A house which can take care of itself

Founded in 2013 and named as Wohnwagon, is currently constructing it's 5th trailer. As with other usual small houses , the Wohnwagons are constructed in a way so as to make efficient use of space and surroundings. They are constructed using rae and recycled materials and have a variety of features. Larch wood is used to make the outer shells of the trailers and the spruce or wood-fiber panels and clay plaster is used to make inner panels. They are insulated by the sheep-wool, which helps to control the interior temperature and moisture. 4 solar panels mounted on the top of the trailer deliver a max power of 1.2 kW and this huge energy is stored in a 6 kWh battery-mechanism set-up under the floor. Wohnwagon quotes, "The system requires thoughtful use of energy, but provides enough output for comfortable year-round living". A monitoting system allows residents to keep an eye on their levels of power consumption.

The trailers each cost in the range of €40,000 to €90,000 (45,000USD to 110,000USD) and customers are able to modufy the design of their Wohnwagon before the development-stage. The one under construction is assumed to be completed this upcoming October and will be set-up in Kärnten at the Almdorf Seinerzeit hotel, in Austria, as a separate bookable suite.
