WhatsApp rolls out new update for Windows Phone

Of all the messaging platforms available on Windows Phone, Whatsapp, as well as being among the most popular, is generally one of the best performers. And now, following a new update, it just became a little better.

Specifically, an update has been rolled out to the Whatsapp beta on Windows Phone, bringing with it the usual mix of performance enhancements and stability improvements, but also some new content. Featured in the refreshed software are new racially-diverse emoji (reflecting the global popularity of the app itself) and more powerful sharing functions, allowing for sharing and forwarding multiple messages in one go.
Currently Whatapp is used by over 800 million separate people, and is the platform of choice for many, despite not picking up as much popularity in the USA. The app is currently free to download from the Windows Phone Store.
