LG's first Android Wear smartwatch 'Urbane 2nd edition' with LTE support is launched.



LG has launched its first Android wear Smartwatch 'Urbane 2nd edition' offering LTE connectivity and a larger 1.38-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 480 and a pixel density of 348ppi and a nano-SIM slot.

Other than these specifications, the new LG Watch Urbane offers features the connectivity options of 4G, 3G, WiFi, and Bluetooth.The smartwatch is powered by a 1.2Ghz Snapdragon TM 400 chipset and runs on the Android WearTM coupled with 768MB LPDDR3 RAM. It comes packed with an 570mAh battery that's designed to last an entire day and includes 4GB of internal memory.

In terms of design, the latest Watch Urbane is slightly thicker than its predecessor, and features two physical buttons on either side of the crown that provide quick access to settings such as contacts and LG Health.

Fitness-focused features include heart rate monitoring, workout tips and stress level monitoring. The bands are non-removable this time around and are made out of hypoallergenic TPSiV elastomer. The watch is also certified IP67 for dust and water resistance.

LG mentions that the Watch Urbane 2 will be available in the United States and Korea, followed by markets in Europe, CIS, Asia and the Middle East. There's no information on pricing or release date just yet.LG is holding an event in New York tomorrow morning, and it appears that the Watch Urbane will be among the new products shown off.

The new Watch Urbane will be available in four color variants: Space Black, Opal Blue, Luxe White, Signature Brown.
