Intex Aqua Power II launches at Rs. 6490





The company’s latest smartphone in the Aqua series and the successor of last year’s Aqua Power. Indian handset maker Intex has expanded its Aqua- series smartphones.
Intex has launched its Aqua Power II, the successor to the Aqua Power smartphone, Priced at Rs. 6,490. 

It features a 5-inch (720x1280p) HD IPS display and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM, the phone has 8GB internal storage and can support microSD cards of up to 32GB.Sporting a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera, the Intex Aqua Power II also features a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Connectivity options include 3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Intex Aqua Power II packs a 4,000mAh battery and delivers up to 15 hours of talk time and 500 hours of standby time, claims the company.

The smartphone measures 146x74.9x10.3mm and weighs 152g. It bears an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.

The Intex Aqua Power II will go up against the recently launched Micromax Canvas Juice 3, as well as the Karbonn Aura 9, which features the same battery capacity..

It has Cast Screen and Air Shuffle, and comes pre-loaded with Sashakt, OneDrive, ASK ME, OLX, News hunt, Matrabhasa, Clean master, Maxthon browser, Truecaller and more apps. 

The company on Monday launched what it called its "maiden offering for females", the Aqua Glam, priced at Rs. 7,690.

The smartphone will be available in White, Black and Champagne colour options and Intex will be bundling one protection cover and screen guard with the device.
