Coolpad launches Note 3 With 3GB RAM, Octa-core processor for Rs. 8,999 in India.



Coolpad, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launched its new smartphone Note 3 for Rs. 8,999. Smartphone is exclusively available via amazon, It is the Coolpad's, first smartphone which comes with a fingerprint scanner at its back with a 360-degree finger rotation capability. The device comes with a 5.5-inch (720x1280 pixel) HD IPS display with viewing angle up to 178 degree and is powered by a 64-bit 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, coupled with 3GB RAM. The Note 3 runs Cool UI 6.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The Dazen Note 3 comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It also comes with other UI features like multi-window mode, double tap to wake up, as well as smart gesture.



It also sports a 13-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 5 Element HD Lens and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. Both front and rear-facing cameras will come with a CMOS image sensor for better image quality. It is power packed with a 3,000mAh battery, whichthe company claims is good enough to sail through a day. The fingerprint sensor is said to support 360-degree finger rotation, and offer speedy recognition in 0.5 seconds. It features compass, gravity, proximity, ambient light, and gyroscope sensors.

Johnson Luo, Vice-President, Coolpad Group said,“The Indian consumer knows his smartphones well and to develop a successful product that is both robust and technically sound is imperative. However, it all boils down to the price of the product and we have decided to modify that, too, as it is Coolpad’s philosophy to bring affordable technology to all."

The company has also said it will invest Rs 300 million in India. It has linked a deal with Videocon for manufacturing smartphones in India and its first ‘Made in India’ phone is expected to arrive in Q1 of 2016.

The Note 3 will be available in White, Yellow, Pink, Blue, Green colour variants. At this price point, the Coolpad Note 3 will compete with the likes of InFocus M330,Honor 4C and Yu Yureka Plus.
