BlackBerry to embrace its path on Android


BlackBerry’s move to embrace Android might finally be setting its path. A new leak was spotted on Twitter which showcased a new product render from BlackBerry which is codenamed Venice, and is tipped to launch on AT&T.



The above image as well which looks like the lower-front half of the smartphone. It looks similar to the company’s Passport smartphone. 

In other features, the smartphone also has navigation keys such as the Home button, Back button and Multi-Window as well.The BlackBerry Venice smartphone is said to sport a 5.4-inch QHD display with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. It will be powered by a 1.8GHz hexa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 3GB RAM. The device will sport a dual-edge curved display and will come equipped with a 18MP rear camera along with a 5MP front facing camera.

BlackBerry, which once dominated the smartphone market, has seen its market share drop to under 1 percent, as the iPhone and a slew of Android devices from Samsung have captured market share.
