Blackberry first Android Mobile 'Priv' is announced.
Blackberry has announced and it first Android mobile - Priv . Releasing plans for its first android mobile was also confirmed by Blackberry's CEO John Chen on Friday. It is expected to be released in the end of 2015 according to Blackberry and it will be available on carrier stores and online stores.
John Chen CEO, Blackberry says,"I am confirming our plans to launch Priv, an Android device named after BlackBerry’s heritage and core mission of protecting our customers’ privacy. Priv combines the best of BlackBerry security and productivity with the expansive mobile application ecosystem available on the Android platform."
The company is also planning the release of an updated version of its BlackBerry 10 operating system next month. The device looks like a Hail Mary pass.
