A solar charger as thin as a paper

A solar charger which is the size of a phone and as light as a paper

There is already a variety of solar devices to keep our mobiles charged up – light permitting – most of which are too heavy tobe carrued around. The
creators of Solar Paper are looking to trend  this portable solar charger that generates 10 power, and still  is lighter than an iPhone.

Its panels are so thin that it can be slid between the pages of a book, and is claimed as world's slimmest and lightest solar-charger by it's inventors. It even has modular panels that connect through fit-in magnets.

For more power, you can join 4 panels together. An individual panel which can generate a maximum of 2.5 W of power, so 4 if joined together will provide up to 10W via a USB cable. Solar Paper also has some pre-loaded advantages to benefit users receive the most of it. Solar Paper has been programmed to automatically resumes charging when it senses adequate sunlight. So when that cloud get pasts you overhead, you can just sit back and relaxe.

It comes with a LCDisplay which displays the amount of current provided to the device, being charged. This is useful to understand how weather, inclinating angle, and face to the sun affect the charge speed, so you can set the best position.

Many have pledged their support to the device's Arrival campaign, with it flying past the US$50,000 goal in just two days. The project creators expect the first batch to be shipped in September 2015, with the second batch following in either October or November, if everything happens as they want. Pledges range from $69 for a 5W and goes whole way ahead to $450 for a set of 4 10W Solar Paper.
